Today I was able to sneak out for Double Dave's and a quick trip to one of my favorite little shops in Old Town Spring with my pal, Rebecca. And the baby, too, of course. He likes to run or crawl through shop. I picked up these two empty frames -- the green one I've had my eye on and this black one that was new. And I have this great idea for it ... well, for one of them. And I think I know which one I'm going to use, but I'm not sure. It's a dilemma.
So black or green? Green or black?
And which orientation? Portrait or Landscape?
I need your help!
Also, I have three of these metal screens. They've been on the same wall since we got them, right after we married. But I saw them today and wondered how they'd look as a headboard of sorts. What do you think? The panel is sitting on the floor here, but they can be hung of course. Also, there's a teeny tiny sneak peek of the new window decor, my painted trophy lamp, and the fun table I brought home today with my frames.
Opinions please::
1. black or green?
2. portrait or landscape?
3. headboard situation
This has been brought to you by domestic indecision. Hence the name. Thank you and have a great weekend!
I personally like the black, portrait, and as far as the headboard...I don't think the one is enough. If you have more side by side then it would look great (not sure I understood what you were planning exactly). And, just for the record, I'm really not great at this stuff. So don't take my thoughts too seriously. I just like what I like. ha. Enjoy. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWell I love the green. But that may be because I love green in general. And I could see the screens as headboard.
ReplyDeleteI would go with green/landscape, that's just my style. Love the screens for the headboard too! Great idea :)
ReplyDeleteI also pick green, landscape. It is much more fun than the black one. I think the screens could work as a headboard, but I need to see the others beside the one you have up. Painting them a fun color would be cool too, but I am sure that is the plan. Hey, if you decide the green one won't work in your house it can always come live with me. I will fight Rebecca for it...lol
ReplyDeleteI like green, portrait. The chippy paint is just charming, and somehow portrait works best in that space.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say exactly what Mari has already said - Black/portrait fills the space perfectly. And I think the if you put a couple of the screens side by side they would make a really neat headboard! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog but thought I'd comment anyhow. :-) I like the green/landscape frame. Not sure about the headboard. I think you would need to use more than one maybe?
